A True Story
Stuart Sharp, a one time homeless, penniless non-musician had a vision of becoming a world class composer and meeting Presidents and Pop Stars. Such foresights also drew him to Africa where he imagined a great concert. He saw himself organising and composing the music for the giant event in the jungle. He dreamed of great orchestras recording the music whirring around in his head. These were compelling images and he saw them all as a programme that would one day be produced and shown around the world. The catalyst to propel him on this impossible odyssey was the tragic death of his son. Making the decision to set out on the adventure was a desperate one. Following the divorce he lost everything and for a time lived rough in Shepherds Bush,UK.

Eventually he moved into a hostel for the homeless and later became its night manager. In the following decades he rose from the ashes and The Philharmonia Orchestra of London's ovation following their recording of his Angeli Symphony was a singular moment in time. He eventually travelled to the dark continent, and against all odds organised and composed the music for one of Africa's most successful concerts.. just as his dream foretold.
